Based on a report of problems, I'm trying to figure out if our RSS feeds are working right. Sooner or later David or Grandy will show up and drag me away from the controls, but for now, I'd appreciate a comment about the following:
1. Does the Popehat RSS feed work for you?
2. What do you show as your feed link? (e.g. http://feeds2.feedburner.com/Popehat, https://archive.popehat.com/feed/, etc.)
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Thanks, I have enough responses from people saying it does work — but please respond if it does not.

Yes.
http://feeds2.feedburner.com/Popehat
1. Yes
2. http://feeds2.feedburner.com/Popehat
Sometimes I need to click it multiple times to get it to work.
Yes
http://feeds2.feedburner.com/Popehat
Yep, working fine.
http://www.newpopehat.dreamhosters.com/feed/
Interesting. The SUBSCRIBE link on the page for me is definitely https://archive.popehat.com/feed/ which doesn't work. I'd be interested if the otheres are seeing that as the link or if they have another source for the http://feeds2.feedburner.com/Popehat link.
Ron — for me, clicking on https://archive.popehat.com/feed/ resolves automatically to http://feeds.feedburner.com/Popehat.
I don't know why. I don't even really know what that means. I count on David and Grandy for this stuff. They tell me "clear your browser cache" or "redirect the feed through the main deflector array" or "now, put the clothespin on your genitals again" and I do it.
Yes.
http://www.newpopehat.dreamhosters.com/feed/
1. yes (I use Google Reader)
2. https://archive.popehat.com/feed/
Using the Sage add-in for Firefox
https://archive.popehat.com/feed/
Andrew in particular:
We'd ask that you stop using the newpopehat.dreamhosters address, for any purpose. It's obsolete.
Also, using it prevents us, to some extent, from tracking and monitoring and cookieing every action you take on this site. You're already tagged and we know almost everything you do. If you use our main address a little more frequently, we'll know your ATM PIN code.
Ken,
Same for me: clicking on https://archive.popehat.com/feed/ resolves automatically to http://feeds.feedburner.com/Popehat – the problem is that I can't get a connection to http://feeds.feedburner.com/Popehat – only to http://feeds2.feedburner.com/Popehat.
I've tried the clothespin and genitals trick, but all that does is get in the way of my typing.
1. Yes (Google Reader)
2. https://archive.popehat.com/feed/
https://archive.popehat.com/feed/ is working fine for me through google reader
Ron: If you simply subscribe to http://www.popehat.com/feed, and ignore the question of whether it resolves to
[feeds | feeds2 | whatever].feedburner.com, everything should work properly.
Andrew: newpopehat is no longer a valid alias. It works for now, but may be scratched without notice.
David,
Try as I might, it resolves to feeds, but that gets me a connection error. I have to manually change it to feeds2 for it to work for me,
Andrew: we are the silence that lurks in shadows.
Ron: What are you using as a feed reader?
David,
My primary reader is FeedDemon, but have looked at it in Firefox, and IE8, All with the same result. Tried changing dns to opendns and back, flushed the dns cache, really wierd.
Using Sage pointed at https://archive.popehat.com/feed/ , sometimes it fails to resolve, but if I click it again it usually works.
I take it all back. Turns out it's a problem on my end, since it's now happening on other blogs too.
Working fine!
